The Environmental Club Garden
last year, in the spring, we started a garden on our school campus. We grew a whole manner of vegetables, some given by a sponsor, Grow'ums, and harvested the crops in the fall, and late summer. The picture on the slide-show on the home tab shows the garden creation process. This was our primary goal last year, and this year we plan to put in a cover crop to keep the soil healthy, and in the spring, plant vegetables again, as well as add a pollinator garden by building to extra beds. So far, the garden has been a huge success, and we can't wait to go further and further with it as it is a great way to practice using our green thumbs, ad botany skills. This year we plan to donate some of our crops to the homeless shelter.
